Verdict: Not Recommended
Basis: My experience as his neighbor on Pocono Lane, plus photos, video, and information from the city. I have not been a customer, so this is not a review of his construction work.
What I’ve Seen
Manuel Saquicela, owner of M B & S Construction, built a shed that, as I understand it, passed the city’s inspection. He then added a bump-out up to the fence. After a complaint, as I understand it, he was told to remove it, and he cut it in half instead. The full story is in Project Sunrise, Part 1.
On October 17, 2026, I filmed him removing a section of his fence and then stepping onto my property without my permission. The video is in Project Sunrise.
Danbury’s zoning regulations, Section 3.G.5, limit commercial vehicle storage at a one-family home to one vehicle of up to 1.5 tons kept in a private garage, and allow only one registered vehicle of 3/4 ton or less, used for transportation rather than commerce, to be kept outside a garage. M B & S work trucks, usually two, have been regularly parked outside his home on Pocono Lane for a long time. The photos below show them.

My Opinion
How a person treats his neighbors says something about how he’ll treat his clients. Based on what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t hire him. That’s my opinion, and the photos and videos are there for you to judge.
